This role is based in our European HQ in Hoxton Square, Shoreditch, London. You'll work a hybrid schedule, with regular in-office presence and flexibility to find your ideal work-life balance. What You’d Be Doing in This Role

As an Account Executive, you will work closely with SMB customers to understand their goals and provide tailored design solutions. You will own a targeted book of SMB prospects, manage the end-to-end sales cycle from outreach to close, and directly contribute to revenue generation. Leveraging the SPICED methodology, you will qualify opportunities, uncover customer value, and drive scalable sales motions.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-growing environment, enjoys autonomy, and is energized by building pipeline, closing deals, and shaping Canva’s presence in Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound sales activities to identify, prospect, and engage with SMB clients.
  • Develop a deep understanding of SMB customer needs, pain points, and objectives to tailor Canva's solutions.
  • Proactively reach out to potential SMB clients via phone, email, and other channels.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with SMB clients.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales & Success, Marketing, Product) to optimize the sales process.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline management using our CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and product developments.

You’re Probably a Match If

  • You have a proven track record of success in outbound sales or account management, preferably in a B2B or SMB-focused environment.
  • You possess strong sales acumen with excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • You have a results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • You can work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • You have familiarity with CRM and outreach software (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach IO, Sales Navigator, Gong).
  • You are fluent in German (this is a must).
  • Prior experience in the tech industry, SaaS sales, or working with SMB clients is a plus.

The Sales and Success team supports Canva Enterprise, with the mission to empower every organization to design. We work with all departments, enabling them to create and collaborate at scale using tools from whiteboards to presentations and our AI platform, Studio.
