About You and the Role:

Carta Law is seeking a high-performing and driven Senior Sales Development Representative to support our US Sales Director in lead generation and client base expansion. The ideal candidate will possess at least one year of experience in a B2B role, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a proven ability to learn and adapt quickly. This role offers a career progression pathway from SDR to a full closing sales position.

Key Priorities:

  • Prospect through online outreach (e.g., LinkedIn) and cold calling to introduce services to potential clients and schedule meetings for the Sales Director.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with Sales Directors and other SDRs to develop and implement effective prospect target lists.
  • Assist in preparing sales materials and presentations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

Work Pattern:

  • Full-time, Remote: Must be able to work Eastern time zone hours (9 am-6 pm, Monday to Friday), regardless of home location.
  • Occasional business travel may be required in the future, depending on business needs.

Reporting To:

Sales Development Director

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a B2B sales role.
  • Understanding of CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with prospects, build relationships, and articulate the value proposition of our legal services.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for achieving and exceeding goals.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members and cross-functional stakeholders, including the C-suite, Sales Directors, and lead lawyers.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving startup environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not essential.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $65,000-$75,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
  • Commission: Eligible for commission (Target OTE $97,000 - $107,000 per annum - no cap).
  • Benefits: 20 days of PTO, Private Healthcare, 4% employer 401K Contribution, and access to vision and dental benefits.
