Venture Capital Intern (m/f/d)

adesso ventures is a venture capital fund based in Berlin, focusing on pre-seed and seed investments in Europe. We are seeking ambitious individuals to join our investment team and gain insights into the entire investment process while building a network within the European startup ecosystem.

About the Role

As an intern, you will be an integral part of the investment team, analyzing business models, markets, and trends, and interacting with exciting startups and founders. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about venture capital and the startup landscape.

Your Responsibilities:

• Independent sourcing of new startups.
• Participating in and independently conducting initial meetings with founders.
• Providing content support for due diligence tasks, including market and competitor research, financial analysis, etc.
• Representing adesso ventures at startup conferences and events, and networking with founders and investors.

Your Qualifications:

• Advanced studies in economics, IT, or a comparable field.
• Previous experience in venture capital, consulting, investment banking, or a startup environment.
• High interest in the startup scene and a general understanding of how venture capital funds operate.
• Quick learner with a high level of commitment.
• Team player with high motivation and initiative.
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Full-time commitment (minimum 4-month internship).
