About the Role

Oowlish, a rapidly expanding software development company, is seeking experienced technology professionals to join our diverse team. As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in a large-scale modernization initiative focused on migrating legacy systems into cloud-native microservices. You will enable engineering teams by building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation processes, and development workflows that support modern software delivery. This role is ideal for someone passionate about improving developer productivity, automating processes, and working closely with engineering teams in cloud-first environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Azure-based cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for multiple engineering squads.
• Support cloud-native application deployments and automation.
• Improve software delivery processes and engineering efficiency.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and technical leadership.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code and automation best practices.
• Support security, reliability, and scalability initiatives.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with: Microsoft Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure Automation.
• Experience supporting production cloud environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience working with cloud-native applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience collaborating with software engineering teams.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Experience supporting microservices-based architectures.
• Experience working with containerized environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience building scalable deployment pipelines.
• Experience supporting distributed engineering teams.
• Experience using AI-assisted development or engineering workflows.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Generative AI technologies.
• Experience supporting AI-driven engineering teams.
• Experience with .NET and Angular environments.
• Experience working in consulting or staff augmentation models.
• Valid US visa.
• Willingness to travel to the US if required.
