Frontend Developer (React/TypeScript)

Dailymotion is looking for a Frontend Developer to join the Dailymotion Studio team in Paris. This role offers a hybrid work model with 3 days remote per week.

Dailymotion Studio is an all-in-one video management platform for publishers, brands, and creators. As a Frontend Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain the frontend applications and UIs powering Studio's core features.

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications and UIs for Studio's core features.
• Work across the stack, primarily with React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and REST APIs, to build responsive and accessible web experiences.
• Tackle complex technical challenges related to video player integration, content management workflows, creator dashboards, and interactive UX.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions, balancing technical excellence with business goals.
• Write clear and thorough technical specifications for smooth cross-team collaboration.
• Be responsive and communicative, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
• Actively participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and learning from others.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Champion best practices in testing, documentation, accessibility, performance, and operational excellence.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of frontend development experience with production apps shipped at scale.
• Proficiency in React & TypeScript.
• Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, browser APIs, responsive design, and web performance.
• Solid grasp of modern frontend architecture (components, state management, routing).
• Autonomous and able to drive work forward without constant supervision.
• English is mandatory as it's the team's daily working language. French is a plus.

Nice to haves:

• Comfort using AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT) for prototyping, debugging, or documenting.
• Familiarity with web optimization techniques (lazy loading, code splitting, bundle optimization).
• Experience with modern CSS methodologies (CSS Modules, Styled Components, Tailwind).
• Solid experience with Git, CI/CD, and modern dev workflows.
• Background in a startup or product company.
