Your Role:
As a Performance Marketing Manager, you will be a key player in developing growth strategies, managing budgets, and acting as a trusted advisor to our clients. You will bridge strategic vision with operational execution, collaborating closely with our specialized teams.
Your Responsibilities:
Performance Strategy & Growth:
- Develop effective growth and performance marketing strategies for clients in collaboration with the project team.
- Translate business objectives into concrete channel, campaign, and budget strategies across relevant online marketing channels, including Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Native, and Programmatic.
- Manage and optimize budgets across channels and target groups to ensure efficient achievement of growth objectives.
- Continuously analyze performance data, derive optimization measures, and adapt strategies regularly.
- Utilize modern AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in analyses, research, campaign concepts, reporting, and operational processes.
Campaign Management & Marketing Operations:
- Take ownership of the setup, management, and continuous optimization of performance marketing campaigns.
- Establish reporting and controlling processes, monitor key KPIs, and manage budgets, timelines, and results.
- Translate client goals into clear tasks for the Performance team and provide structured briefings.
- Act as a thought leader on current performance marketing topics, new tools, and AI-driven workflows, actively sharing knowledge within the team.
Client & Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Present performance strategies, measures, and results clearly and convincingly in client meetings and regular check-ins.
- Ensure clients fully understand requirements, next steps, and performance levers.
- Identify opportunities, contribute your own ideas, and develop concrete measures for goal achievement with the project team.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative team to develop data-driven creative concepts, new testing approaches, and impactful campaign ideas.
Your Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in performance marketing, ideally in an agency, e-commerce, B2C, or B2B environment.
- Strong understanding of multiple online marketing channels (e.g., Paid Social, Paid Search, Native, Programmatic) with expert-level depth in at least one.
- Proven experience with tracking, reporting, and KPI-based campaign management.
- Data-driven decision-making ability, combining analytical thinking with pragmatic execution.
- Curiosity for new technologies and ideally experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude).
- Active engagement with performance marketing trends and proactive contribution of new ideas to the team.
- Proactive and independent project management skills, with a strong ability to collaborate effectively within teams.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and structured work approach.
- Fluent communication in German and English.
