About the Role

The Live Orchestration Department within DE&E Technology comprises agile teams responsible for the daily processes and procedures that power our live and on-demand streaming video products. We provide round-the-clock support, ensuring optimal functionality across all platforms. As a Streaming Media Assistant, you will be a key member of a daily operations team, delivering high-profile media products to market. You will provide live, hands-on operational and procedural support, including system health monitoring, issue mitigation, and streaming media orchestration using proprietary software.

Responsibilities:

• Follow operational procedures and report any workflow issues.
• Execute defined processes to validate the quality and availability of live content streams.
• Perform system health monitoring and orchestrate live and VOD streaming media using provided tools and software.
• Document troubleshooting steps for identified workflows.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong understanding of computers and applications.
• Exemplary attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
• Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A solid computer and technical background, with experience in digital media and online organizations.
• Familiarity with streaming and broadcast media, particularly HTTP Live Streaming (HLS).
• A team player with a strong work ethic and enthusiasm.
• Ability to troubleshoot efficiently.
• 1-2 years of relevant working experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

The hiring range for this remote position is $63,600 - $98,000 per year. The actual pay offered will consider factors such as internal equity, geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package may also include a bonus and/or long-term incentive units, along with a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
