Job Description:
We are seeking a Production Control Staff member within the logistics department to manage orders for OEM products with overseas Bosch plants. This role is responsible for the entire process from placing orders with overseas Bosch plants based on automotive-related product demand, to receiving finished products after production, and managing their delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order and Inventory Management: Based on customer demand, manage product order planning and order processing to overseas Bosch plants, as well as production, transportation, and shipment schedules. This includes appropriate inventory control and management of new product launches, changes, and phase-outs.
- Order Intake, Shipment, and Transportation Management: Collaborate with Bosch-related departments (internal and external) and business partners to promptly monitor status changes and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Optimization: Drive cost reduction initiatives, operational efficiency improvements, and quality enhancements with the goal of optimizing logistics quality and cost management.
- System and Data Management: Utilize SAP as the core ERP system to manage related master data, order planning, order processing, shipment and transportation management, and inventory control.

English is frequently used for daily communication (emails, meetings, etc.) and negotiations with counterpart partners mainly in Thailand, China, Germany, the United States, Mexico, and other countries.
Qualifications:
- Logistics Expertise: Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience in supply chain management and logistics concepts, including order planning, inventory management, transportation, and shipment operations.
- Language Skills: Ability to communicate in Japanese with internal Japanese staff, as well as strong English communication skills.
- International Negotiation and Communication: Proven track record of successful negotiations with overseas partners, supported by a proactive and collaborative mindset, and the ability to maintain smooth and effective cross-cultural communication.
