About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Test Management Consultant to grow our Consulting team. If you are adept at structuring test management across diverse client projects, guiding teams in their professional development, and sustainably standardizing quality with our clients, this role is for you. You will work at the intersection of consulting, technology, and innovation, supported by an experienced team with ample room for contribution.

Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee the entire test management process in client projects, contributing expertise to shared success.
• Develop a tailored test approach based on objectives, requirements, and risks, advising and supporting clients in its implementation.
• Plan test levels, deadlines, and resources in close exchange with stakeholders, ensuring reliable provision of test environments and data.
• Support stakeholders in risk-based prioritization of test scope and depth.
• Bridge the gap between business departments, development, operations, and the test team, fostering appreciative collaboration.
• Document test progress, defects, residual risks, and release decisions comprehensibly.
• Assess the meaningful use of test automation and specialized tests from a technical perspective, integrating relevant expertise.
• Work on projects for HanseMerkur and other clients. On-site appointments will be planned transparently and in advance.
• Actively contribute project experience to red6 to jointly develop standards and best practices within the team.

Qualifications:

• Practical experience in test management and quality assurance, with a passion for applying this in a team setting.
• Engaged and independent design of test activities, from planning to evaluation.
• Familiarity with risk-based testing, test strategy, metrics, and defect analysis.
• Proficiency in working with requirements, acceptance criteria, test cases, and test documentation.
• Understanding of agile, iterative, and classic development models, with flexibility to adapt to project contexts.
• Ideally, certifications such as ISTQB, CTFL, CTAL Test Manager, knowledge of ISO 29119, or a strong understanding of quality standards.
• Interest or initial experience with generative AI in test management, quality assurance, or project work.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI results and recognize areas where expert judgment and approval remain necessary.
• Focus on quality aspects like performance, security, accessibility, resilience, and usability, with the ability to assess them technically.
• Enjoys collaborating with colleagues, providing advisory support, and sharing knowledge appreciatively.
