About the Role:

The NetBrain Field Sales team is seeking a proven Enterprise hunter with extensive software selling experience and high emotional intelligence to join our world-class sales organization. This role focuses on closing multi-year deals with long sales cycles, valued at upwards of $1 million, and transforming network operations for Global System Integrators (GSI)/Managed Service Providers (MSP) and Fortune 500 companies through automation and dynamic mapping. You will make a significant impact on NetBrain's growth by closing six and seven-figure deals.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Exceed assigned sales quotas and objectives.
  • Define and execute a territory business plan outlining target accounts, productivity strategies, and a high-quality pipeline for predictable outcomes and overachievement.
  • Engage at all levels across IT and other lines of business within global organizations.
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of key selling methodologies to maximize deal values and accelerate the customer buying process.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting of all sales activities through Salesforce.com.
  • Leverage a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and Sales Engineers to maximize coverage and technology evangelism within target accounts.
  • Balance driving current bookings with developing a long-term, healthy pipeline.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the CIO's agenda and the impact of digital transformation across all lines of business.
  • Construct complex technical and commercial proposals.
  • Leverage partners to maximize market penetration and scale.

What You Bring:

  • 5-10 years of technology/SaaS sales experience, selling into the IT departments of large enterprise companies.
  • Proven ability to work with assigned prospects, prioritize them, build target contact lists (in partnership with BDRs), forge relationships with champions and buyers, and translate these into significant sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a value-based sales environment with long sales cycles.
  • Ability to learn and explain technical concepts to technical teams.
  • High emotional intelligence with exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within your territory.
  • Manual Dexterity: Repetitive motion of wrists, hands, and fingers for using a computer.
  • Stationary Tasks: Sitting for extended periods, remaining in a stationary position.

Ideal Locations:

  • Nashville, TN
  • Charlotte or Raleigh-Durham, NC
  • Greenville or Columbia, SC

What We Offer:

  • Comprehensive compensation package, with an estimated On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $300,000 – $330,000 on a 50/50 base/variable split. Actual salary may vary based on factors including market and individual qualifications.
