- Create meaningful financial reports, analyses, and financial models to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Act as a sparring partner for management on financial matters related to pricing, investments, profitability, cost structures, and growth initiatives.
- Identify financial risks, establish effective internal controls, and ensure compliance with legal, tax, and group-wide requirements.
- Optimize and harmonize existing Finance processes and systems, especially in the post-merger phase and in coordination with HQ.
- Drive efficiency, scalability, and automation within the Finance organization, including the use of modern tools and AI.
- Collaborate closely with international Finance teams to implement group-wide standards and processes.
- Manage relationships with external partners such as tax advisors, auditors, banks, investors, and authorities.
- Lead, develop, and strategically advance a high-performing Finance team.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in Finance (ideally 8-10+ years), including initial leadership experience.

- Strong entrepreneurial thinking, understanding of business contexts, and the ability to translate numbers into clear action recommendations.
- Strategic vision and a hands-on mentality, with a pragmatic approach to solving operational challenges.
- Experience in building and developing Finance structures and teams.
- Data-driven approach with a high affinity for systems, tools, and automation.
- Clear and convincing communication at all levels (team, management, international stakeholders) in German and English.
Benefits:
- Flexible working hours and a hybrid work model in Hamburg or Berlin.
- Responsibility and scope for action within an international company.
- Support for mobility (Deutschlandticket), health (Urban Sports Club), and sustainable work practices (Bikeleasing).
- Regular team events like shared breakfast/lunch focusing on exchange and collaboration.
