About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal AI Systems Engineer to architect, build, and own AI systems that automate expert-intensive technical workflows end-to-end. You will solve real business problems with AI, ensure solutions are fully implemented and adopted, and measure their effectiveness. This is a hybrid role based in Netaji Subhash Place, Pitampura, New Delhi.

Responsibilities

• System Architecture: Own end-to-end architecture of AI automation systems, including workflow decomposition, component communication, human checkpoints, and failure behavior. Design and build internal CLI frameworks, reusable libraries, and agent scaffolding. Author and maintain agent instruction files and MCP server definitions. Configure Claude Code and Codex CLI environments. Evaluate and document architectural trade-offs.
• Pipeline Development: Build production-grade AI pipelines in Python, integrating AI systems with external tooling. Design context assembly for precise pipeline stage inputs. Build and operate multi-agent systems.
• Prompt & Context Engineering: Design, version, and maintain system prompts and agent instructions. Own output schema design and prompt regression testing. Engineer context windows for accuracy, token cost, and latency. Build and maintain structured runtime knowledge assets. Translate specialist knowledge into agent behavior.
• Evaluation & Reliability: Build and own the evaluation framework, including test suites, regression benchmarks, and LLM-as-judge pipelines. Implement production monitoring. Run structured failure analysis and implement fixes. Define and report on automation rate and business effectiveness.
• Governance & Technical Leadership: Implement full audit trails. Enforce versioning of agent instructions and system prompts. Set technical standards for AI development. Collaborate with engineering, product, and domain teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience.
• Proven track record of building production AI automation systems end-to-end.
• Hands-on expertise with Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cursor, or equivalent.
• Experience designing and deploying MCP servers and custom tools.
• Experience building internal CLI frameworks, agent scaffolding, and reusable libraries.
• Experience creating internal tooling and automation that measurably improved engineering team efficiency.
• Deep prompt and context engineering skills.
• Proficiency with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, or equivalent).
• Experience building AI evaluation frameworks.
• Production Python engineering experience.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience integrating AI systems with external APIs.
• Experience defining and tracking AI productivity metrics.

Bonus Points

• Experience in gaming (game development pipelines, Unity/Unreal engine architectures).
• Familiarity with game engine scripting, asset pipelines, or platform SDKs.
