Job Summary:
DeepHealth employs people in 13 countries, with main offices in the UK, the Netherlands, and Hungary. As we grow, our European presence is expanding. The HR Generalist, Europe is a Netherlands-based role supporting employees and managers across the region. This position covers day-to-day HR activities including employee lifecycle administration, employee relations, and Dutch employment law compliance. It also involves maintaining a strong operational backbone through HRIS ownership, data integrity, and process improvement. You will be the primary point of contact for HR queries in Europe and contribute to broader HR projects and initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee lifecycle administration (onboarding, offboarding, contract changes, personnel file maintenance).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR queries across Europe, providing guidance on HR processes and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with Dutch employment law, including sick leave management (Wet verbetering poortwachter), UWV notifications, and Arbodienst coordination.
  • Maintain HRIS data accuracy through entry, audits, and reporting.
  • Support HR policy drafting, updates, and communication.
  • Identify and implement improvements to HR workflows and processes for operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to HR projects and strategic initiatives, coordinating tasks and tracking timelines.
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Legal teams to ensure alignment of HR systems and processes.
  • Support culture-building activities and contribute to a positive employee experience.
  • Provide talent acquisition support as needed (resume screening, introductory interviews, scheduling).

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist, HR operations, or similar HR role.
  • Knowledge of Dutch employment law, including sick leave regulations and UWV processes.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (data management, reporting, workflows).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent communication skills, providing clear guidance to employees and managers.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Fluent in English required; Dutch and/or French language skills preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid position in the Netherlands.
  • Requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, and cognitive thinking.
  • Ability to travel (~10% of time), drive, and utilize other forms of transportation.

Salary:

  • €45,000 - €55,000 per year.
  • Possibility to work 32 or 36 hours a week.
