Injective Labs, a core contributor to Injective, one of the fastest-growing blockchains in Web3, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. This role is crucial in the dynamic field of blockchain technology, supporting our legal efforts in regulatory compliance, contracts, and research. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal principles applicable to blockchains and decentralized finance.

About the Role

As a Paralegal, you will collaborate closely with legal team members to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations. You will be instrumental in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts, supporting negotiations, conducting legal research, and providing legal guidance to internal teams. A strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, particularly using platforms like Synaps.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with legal team members to ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to the company's operations.
• Support the legal team in negotiating and finalizing contracts with external parties, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Conduct research and stay updated on regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Work closely with internal teams, providing legal guidance and support in day-to-day operations.
• Conduct and manage Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, with a strong preference for experience using Synaps or similar platforms.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree. A paralegal certificate is a plus.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal department, preferably with exposure to legal work related to decentralized finance and blockchains.
• Strong general understanding of legal principles, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with the legal considerations arising from blockchain technology and smart contracts, along with a general understanding of the technology.
• Proficiency with compliance platforms.
• Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple tasks with precision.
• Ability to adapt quickly to the evolving regulatory landscape in the decentralized finance and blockchain industry.
• Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the industry.
• Uphold high ethical standards and confidentiality in handling sensitive legal matters.
