Senior Test Engineer - Keylane

Keylane is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join the Plexus Digital Engagement (PDE) cluster, responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and stability of digital pension portals. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with developers, analysts, and product specialists in an agile environment, contributing to the modernization of portal solutions and strengthening testing practices.

About Your Role:
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will ensure the quality of digital pension solutions by analyzing requirements, designing and executing test scenarios, and identifying risks. You will contribute to test automation, CI/CD activities, and release decisions. You will have the opportunity to shape testing practices and strengthen the testing community within Keylane.

About Your Team:
The PDE cluster manages online portals for pension providers interacting with employers, advisors, and participants. The team supports existing solutions and a modern PDE platform, focusing on secure and user-friendly digital services. The team is currently migrating from Vue2 to Vue3 and ensuring WCAG accessibility compliance. Ownership, quality, and continuous improvement are core values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure quality, reliability, and stability of digital pension solutions.
• Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria from a quality perspective.
• Design and execute test scenarios, challenging assumptions.
• Contribute to test automation initiatives and CI/CD-related testing.
• Provide clear quality insights to support release decisions.
• Shape testing practices and quality standards.
• Strengthen the testing community within Keylane.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least 4 years of experience in software testing within an Agile environment.
• Experience with functional testing, risk-based testing, and test automation.
• Experience working with modern testing tools and frameworks.
• Ability to understand complex processes, identify risks, and translate requirements into effective test scenarios.
• Problem-solving mindset, ownership, and proactive improvement seeking.
• Careful, accurate work ethic with strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Professional speaking and writing level in both Dutch and English.
• Comfort collaborating with technical and business stakeholders and constructively challenging assumptions.
• Plus: Experience in pension or financial services, improving testing standards/processes, or coaching other testers.
• Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and reference check required.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Monthly gross salary between € 4.300 and € 6.300 (based on 40 hours/week).
