AI & Automations Analyst, Finance & Ops

Bolt🌍 Remote WorldwideEstimated: $80,000 - $120,000

AI & Automation Analyst - Bolt

Bolt is seeking an AI & Automation Analyst to join its central Finance and Operations team. This role is pivotal at the intersection of technology, operations, and business impact, focusing on reducing manual effort, accelerating key business processes, and enabling Bolt's scalable growth.

About Us:

With over 200 million customers in 50+ countries, Bolt is one of Europe and Africa's fastest-growing tech companies. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome and aim to make cities more people-centric.

About the Role:

As an AI & Automation Analyst, you will design, build, and maintain automated workflows and integrations connecting internal systems with external platforms, data sources, and third-party tools. You will collaborate closely with Finance, IT, and People Tech teams to translate business needs into reliable, scalable solutions, owning these automations end-to-end.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain automated workflows and their documentation across ERP, finance, HR, and operational systems.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and well-documented integration solutions.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery, including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
  • Monitor automation performance, proactively resolve incidents, and maintain high workflow reliability (≥99%).
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve process efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Finance, IT, People Tech, and third-party vendors to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

About You:

  • Hands-on experience with automation and integration platforms (e.g., n8n, Make.com) to independently design, build, debug, and maintain complex workflows.
  • Comfort working with REST APIs, webhooks, event-based systems, and data formats like JSON and XML.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ownership skills to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement lasting fixes.
  • Proven ability to manage your own backlog, align proactively with dependent teams, and take full accountability for outcomes.
  • A keen eye for process improvement and spotting automation opportunities.
  • Clear communication skills in fluent English, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Workday, SAP) is a plus, but not required; fundamentals in integration and automation are prioritized.

We value drive, intelligence, and integrity. We encourage you to apply even if you don't tick every box.

Why you’ll love it here:

  • Accelerate professional growth with unique career opportunities.
  • Rewarding salary and stock options.
  • Comprehensive wellness perks.
  • A 1-month paid sabbatical after 5 years at Bolt.
  • Engage with colleagues at annual company events and team gatherings.
  • Hybrid work model with at least 12 monthly in-office days for flexibility and collaboration.
