About the Role:
We are hiring a Senior Account Executive to play a pivotal role in the growth of one of PatSnap's most strategic and fastest-growing verticals. This is an opportunity to join a business redefining R&D innovation. You will lead strategic, consultative sales cycles with innovative organizations, engaging senior stakeholders across R&D, innovation, IP, and commercial functions. This role requires a hunter and consultant who can build and execute territory plans, generate pipeline, and manage complex, multi-threaded opportunities from engagement to close.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Drive net-new logo acquisition and revenue growth across EMEA and North America.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets and core sales KPIs.
  • Own the full end-to-end sales cycle, from outbound prospecting through discovery, negotiation, and close.
  • Partner with Account Managers to expand existing customers into new buying centers.
  • Build and convert a strong pipeline with accurate forecasting and disciplined reporting.
  • Run a multi-channel sales process (phone, Microsoft Teams, face-to-face).
  • Attend and represent PatSnap at conferences, potentially taking speaking roles.
  • Develop strong product and market expertise within IP services and software.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, GTM, and Marketing to support go-to-market activity and share customer insights.

What We’d Love From You:

  • 5+ years of 360° SaaS sales experience with a proven track record of hitting or exceeding targets.
  • Tech sales experience in a fast-paced company.
  • Confident in high-volume outbound outreach, from cold calling to pipeline building.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, present persuasively, and influence decision-makers.
  • Successfully engaged senior stakeholders and navigated complex sales cycles.
  • Experience in Innovation/IP solutions is a plus.
  • AI adopter and champion, utilizing AI for preparation and outputs to maximize client-facing time.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in gaming, entertainment, hospitality, or destination marketing.
  • Familiarity with platforms like The Trade Desk, DV360, Tealium, AudienceStream, Live Nation, Ticketmaster, or similar.
  • Experience with media, creative, analytics, web, CRM, content, and AI-enabled marketing solutions.
