QA Automation Engineer (ServiceNow)

About the Role

We are seeking a fluent English-speaking QA Automation Engineer with expertise in ServiceNow to join a Development team. This role involves close collaboration with a major client's IT team on their first assignment. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing a comprehensive testing framework for ServiceNow customizations.

Your Tasks

• Design the full testing framework, including unit, integration, system, regression, UAT, and performance testing, tailored for ServiceNow customizations.
• Collaborate closely with the project team to understand application requirements, create test cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Coordinate with business owners, developers, and end-user representatives to ensure test scenarios accurately reflect real-world usage across different regions, roles, and support request types.
• Review manual test cases and user stories in Azure DevOps projects.
• Create and manage test cases, test data, and defects within Azure DevOps.
• Participate in Sprint planning and retrospective sessions.

Requirements

• University degree combined with 8 years of relevant IT professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a QA role with a strong understanding of the ServiceNow suite.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience with open-source testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber, Appium).
• At least 2 years of experience with the Azure DevOps platform.
• In-depth experience with API testing using Postman and Rest Assured.
• Experience in automating system integration (mock/stubs) and End-to-End (E2E) tests.
• At least 2 years of experience in mobile automation using Appium and cloud platforms like BrowserStack/LambdaTest.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, with working experience in REST API methods, operations, and data serialization using JSON libraries.
• Experience in implementing CI/CD using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with both automated and manual testing, understanding the methodologies for incorporating both.
• Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Excellent command of the English language.
