About the Role:

As an Account Executive, you will be a vital part of BambooHR's growth, responsible for building relationships, identifying client needs, and guiding prospects through the sales journey. You will generate leads, close deals, and help businesses discover how BambooHR can transform their HR processes.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outreach and networking.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized pipeline and track progress using the CRM system.
  • Customer Needs Analysis: Understand client needs and present tailored BambooHR solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to advance deals.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Assist in negotiating deals and closing prospects.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about product updates and market trends.

What You Need to Get the Job Done:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B or SaaS sales. Prospecting/cold calling experience is a plus.
  • Sales Tools: Familiarity with CRM systems (like Salesforce) and basic sales tools.
  • Goal-Oriented: A track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas in a quota-carrying role.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present product demos.
  • Drive & Persistence: A strong desire to succeed, with the ability to manage objections and overcome challenges.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Coachability: Willingness to learn from feedback and improve sales approach.
  • Customer Focused: Understanding of BambooHR’s value proposition and ability to communicate it to clients.
  • Organized: Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prospects concurrently.
  • Positive Attitude: Energetic, enthusiastic, and positive approach.
