With a growing customer base in North America and recent expansion into the EU, we are a small, passionate team dedicated to improving backcountry communication and safety. We donate $2 per radio sold to search-and-rescue teams nationwide.

The Opportunity:
Rocky Talkie seeks a highly organized Marketing Coordinator to bring complex projects to life and ensure excellent execution of marketing initiatives. You will collaborate closely with brand, creative, product, operations, and external partners to coordinate and execute marketing campaigns that reach new customers and enhance existing relationships. This role focuses on campaign management, website and marketplace management, project management, and performance reporting, demanding thoughtfulness, precision, and attention to detail.

As a small, entrepreneurial team, you will have significant ownership, solve problems independently, and contribute wherever needed to support the broader marketing team. Success requires balancing strategic thinking with exceptional project management and execution, creating structure, coordinating teams, and driving projects to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Management:
  • Coordinate planning and execution of marketing campaigns across paid media, email, affiliate, and partner channels.
  • Manage promotional calendars and campaign timelines for multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Coordinate the development and delivery of creative assets with internal and external partners.
  • Ensure timely campaign launches and alignment with business objectives.
  • Website & Marketplace Management:
  • Maintain, optimize, and merchandise digital storefronts (Shopify, Amazon, etc.).
  • Coordinate updates to product pages, landing pages, navigation, promotional content, and educational resources.
  • Ensure product information, imagery, and messaging are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Support the creation, testing, and optimization of website content for improved customer experience and conversion rates.
  • Manage Amazon listings, A+ content, storefronts, and other marketplace assets.
  • Identify opportunities for A/B testing, content improvements, and merchandising adjustments.
  • Monitor website and marketplace performance to identify issues and opportunities.
  • Project Management & Coordination:
  • Manage systems, processes, and project workflows for marketing team efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve team processes, communication, and project management.
  • Identify potential roadblocks, communicate risks, and facilitate problem-solving.
  • Coordinate external agencies, freelancers, and vendors to ensure high-quality project completion.
  • Reporting & Insights:
  • Maintain regular reporting cadences and marketing performance dashboards.
  • Analyze campaign, website, and sales performance to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Conduct competitor research and monitor market activity.
  • Translate data into clear recommendations and actionable insights.

Requirements:

  • 2-5+ years of experience in marketing, project management, e-commerce, or related roles.
  • Experience coordinating and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proven attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally and driving projects to completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with marketing analytics, reporting tools, and performance data.
  • Consideration given for experience in consumer electronics, the outdoor industry, e-commerce, or technical products.

  • Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Google Merchant Center, Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Affiliate marketing platforms (Impact, ShareASale, AvantLink), Klaviyo or similar, Google Analytics (GA4), Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets.
