About You:

• You genuinely enjoy children and are an engaging, creative, child-focused individual who is willing to have fun, play, read, and do arts and crafts in families' homes.
• You value communication with parents and coworkers.
• You are available at least three days per week to work between 7 am - 7 pm.
• You have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license for transportation.
• You are able to assist with school homework (up to 5th-grade Math and English assignments).
• You bring at least 1 year of day-to-day childcare experience with children ages infant and up.
• You can provide 3 references (2 related to working with children, paid or unpaid, and 1 character reference).
• You are at least 18 years of age or older.
• Reliability is important to you, and families can depend on you.

Job Certifications:

• First Aid and CPR
• High School Diploma or GED

Working Conditions and Requirements:

• Active, kid-centric work environment including cleanup of activities.
• May involve outdoor work, weather permitting, and active play.
• Position involves regular lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, and pushing.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely.
• Must be able to get up and down from the floor numerous times throughout the day.
• Ability to react quickly and calmly to emergent situations.

Compensation:

• Hourly Wage: $23 - $25 per hour
• Overtime Wage: $34.50 - $37.50 per hour
