Director, One KIPP Delivery, Regional Impact Operations

About The Position

The Director, Regional Impact Operations is a key member of the One KIPP Delivery (OKD) team, supporting Regional Impact "pods" – teams of experts assisting regional leaders in executing the One KIPP strategy. This role ensures these pods can effectively support, monitor, and hold regional leaders accountable for high-quality implementation of One KIPP initiatives. Reporting to the VP of One KIPP Delivery, this position combines logistics, data management, implementation tracking, and thought partnership to ensure effective support for regions.

Responsibilities

Pod Logistics & Coordination (Visits, Meetings, SME Deployment)

• Ensure assigned OKD regional pods function smoothly through strong scheduling, coordination, and logistics for regional visits, weekly pod meetings, and other touchpoints.
• Design and execute regular meeting and monitoring cadences and structures to best support the pod's goals.
• Actively manage actions, accountability, and follow-through among pod stakeholders.
• Coordinate timely deployment of KIPP Foundation subject-matter experts into regions.

One KIPP Implementation Accountability & Management

• Monitor and track regional execution of One KIPP initiatives and core OKD processes, providing visibility for the Regional Superintendent and pod to stay ahead of risks.
• Create systems to proactively flag risks to timelines, fidelity, or engagement for the Regional Superintendent and Pod.

Data Management & Reporting Infrastructure

• Build and maintain data reporting and monitoring structures that support pod operations (e.g., weekly academic progress monitoring).
• Coordinate with the Data & Technology team to develop and maintain regional dashboards and reporting tools.
• Ensure Regional Impact leaders have access to timely, accurate implementation data and develop monitoring indicators that surface risks before problems escalate.
• Prepare data-informed materials for meetings, memos, and leadership updates.

Regional Superintendent Support & Thought Partnership

• Serve as a thought partner to Regional Superintendents on implementation challenges, initiative sequencing, and regional capacity considerations.
• Build trust to ensure OKD is viewed as a supportive operational partner.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of professional experience leading complex initiatives, programs, or implementations.
• K-12 school experience; multi-regional or multi-site school system experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working with data systems, dashboards, or reporting tools to support decision-making.
• Proven ability to influence and partner effectively with senior, cross-functional leaders.

Additional Information

• Work Conditions: Moderate Travel (25%). Full, exempt role.
• Location: Preferred to be based out of a KIPP Foundation office (NYC, Chicago), but remote option is available.
• Compensation and Benefits: Salary range: $124,800 - $150,000. Benefits include 25 holidays + 18 flexible PTO days (increasing with tenure), 100% paid parental leave, 100% employee medical/dental/vision premium coverage (75% for family), wellness benefits, 401K with 4% match, employer-sponsored legal plans, life/disability insurance, and flexible spending accounts.
