About the Role
For our client, a specialist in services related to the processing of securities transactions, we are seeking a dedicated Securities Settlement Specialist (m/f/d) as part of direct permanent placement. Responsibilities
- After intensive training, you will take over the setup and administration of securities depots
- You will be the point of contact for Front and Middle Office
- You will handle the delivery of securities transactions and the processing of corporate actions
- You will act as an interface to other departments
- You will participate in the processing of Annual General Meetings
- You will be responsible for processing, reconciling, and clarifying discrepancies in securities transactions
- You will process and control tax-related matters, such as capital gains tax and transaction tax
- You will set up and maintain your own securities custody accounts
- You will perform business entry of settlement data and settlement instructions
Qualifications
- Completed apprenticeship as a Banker (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
- (Several years of) professional experience in securities settlement, settlement, or Middle Office
- Knowledge of securities products and settlement systems
- Analytical skills and cooperative communication internally and externally
- A risk-aware, responsible, and structured way of working
- Good command of MS Office applications, especially Excel
- Good English language skills in spoken and written are desirable.
