What You Bring

  • End-to-end payroll processing experience, either in-house or through a payroll service provider.
  • Solid understanding of payroll best practices.
  • Proficiency in software tools such as Excel and Google Suite.
  • An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact.
  • A drive for productivity and a constant search for ways to improve and accelerate work.
  • Understanding of and ability to work largely asynchronously.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Experience working remotely is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a country-specific subject matter expert.
  • Manage existing relationships with key stakeholders in Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
  • Process full end-to-end payroll, including statutory filings, handling exceptions, approvals, payments, and ensuring compliance.
  • Ensure complete data integrity and quality.
  • Payroll Journals/Reconciliations: Perform and manage payroll journals and reconciliations.
  • Focus on KPIs and SLAs: Monitor and manage performance against Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements.
  • Process Improvement: Implement and enhance payroll processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and support other payroll specialists.
  • Backup Support: Provide backup to regional managers during their absence.
