Your Role

We are seeking applications for the position of Junior/Senior Specialist Custodian Services Real Estate Funds (m/f/d).

Your Responsibilities

• Contribute to investor protection through comprehensive oversight of real estate funds, including the review and approval of real estate transactions (acquisitions/disposals) and financing.
• Perform regular asset valuations (balance sheets) of real estate funds and companies.
• Verify unit prices for real estate funds and manage cash flows.
• Support specialized departments of capital management companies with technical inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Bank Service, Securities Operations, Legal, IT, and Corporate Banking & Finance on cross-departmental matters.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and contractual investment limits by the capital management companies.
• Participate in the continuous development of control systems and processes (maintenance, conception, implementation) in consideration of all applicable regulatory requirements.

Your Qualifications

• Completed commercial apprenticeship with a focus on banking, accounting, or taxation.
• Ideally, a further qualification such as a "Fachwirt" (certified specialist) or a completed degree in Business or Real Estate Management.
• Professional experience in the financial industry or investment fund sector, gained for example in a custodian bank (depot bank), capital management company, or in real estate controlling/fund accounting within a real estate company.
• An enjoyment of precise working methods.
• Good English language skills and proficient MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
