Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing monthly and annual financial statements for life insurance companies and smaller non-insurance companies in accordance with German Commercial Code (HGB) regulations.
• Handle daily accounting tasks, including account clarification, reconciliation, and balance sheet postings.
• Contribute to the preparation of tax balance sheets, tax reports, and tax returns, and handle tax-related legal issues.
• Support in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.

Qualifications

• Successful degree in Business Administration, preferably with a focus on accounting or taxation, or an equivalent qualification such as a certified accountant or tax specialist.
• Practical experience with SAP (especially FI and FS-CD) and MS Office (especially Excel) is preferred.
• Passion for accounting and tax-related topics.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to take responsibility for assigned tasks.
