We are seeking a Risk Manager (m/f/d) on behalf of our client, a dynamic financial industry company based in Munich, for permanent employment starting as soon as possible. Responsibilities

• Determine the bank's default risk and subsequently create the risk report for the board.
• Serve as the interface between management, the credit committee, and the supervisory board.
• Participate in cross-departmental projects.
• Support the validation and further development of methods and processes.
• Conduct the annual OP Risk Assessment and further develop IT risk management.
• Create internal ratings and conduct stress tests.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree with a focus on banking, finance, business mathematics, or a comparable qualification.
• Initial professional experience in risk management or credit department.
• Good knowledge of regulatory requirements for credit institutions.
• Programming skills in VBA and R are desirable.
• Sense of responsibility, strong communication skills, and very high quality standards.
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• High level of analytical skills and understanding of complex issues.
