The Opportunity: Associate Brand Manager, Innovation

This role is pivotal in developing and executing innovation and renovation initiatives across key brands including Nature’s Bounty, Osteo Bi-Flex, Nuun, and GARD. You will be instrumental in driving data-informed decisions, leading product updates, and collaborating cross-functionally from concept to launch and beyond. This position requires a blend of analytical prowess, project management skills, and a strategic mindset to identify growth opportunities and accelerate speed-to-market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze innovation and renovation performance (consumption, velocity).
  • Interpret syndicated data (Circana, Stackline), panel data, internal sales, and social listening to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Develop actionable insights to guide pipeline prioritization and renovation strategies.
  • Track competitive landscapes, innovation pipelines, and category shifts.
  • Support post-launch analysis, including consumer feedback and optimization recommendations.
  • Prepare executive-level reports and dashboards.
  • Lead renovation projects (formula, claims, packaging, flavor extensions).
  • Manage innovation projects through the stage-gate process from brief development to launch readiness.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Medical, Regulatory, Packaging, and Operations teams.
  • Support concept development, validation, and consumer research.
  • Ensure projects meet timeline, budget, and strategic brand alignment.
  • Assist in developing innovation marketing plans and launch strategies.
  • Create sales materials and commercialization assets.
  • Partner with Sales/Customer Development on launch planning.
  • Manage innovation/renovation project timelines.

Experience and Education Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in brand management for CPG Food, CPG Personal Product, or OTC brands (internships included).
  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.
  • Functional Skills: Strong analytical abilities to translate market dynamics into tactics.
  • Strategic Skills: Collaborative, strategic agility, decision-making, ambiguity tolerance, influencing senior management.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Energy & Drive: Self-starter, independent thinker, action-oriented, results-driven.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong presentation and written communication skills, ability to interact with senior management.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Customer/consumer focus, effective peer relationship building, cross-functional collaboration.
  • Preferred Skills: Circana data analysis, marketing budget management, volume forecasting, project management, copy development.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $105,000 - $135,000 annually (estimate, final compensation may vary).
  • Incentives: Performance-based incentives.
