About the Role

In this key position, you will manage the entire operative accounting process and actively support our team in the digital transformation. You will be the central figure for financial reporting and accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

• Independently prepare and coordinate month-end and year-end closing procedures according to HGB and IFRS standards.
• Holistically manage the general ledger and fixed asset accounting, including intercompany reconciliations and VAT matters.
• Serve as a competent contact person for external auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders; provide support for budget planning and forecasts.
• Lead IT special projects (e.g., ERP implementations or process automation in the Finance department).
• Provide technical guidance to the team, facilitate knowledge transfer to adjacent departments, and onboard new talent.

Qualifications:

Education

• University degree with a focus on Finance/Accounting or a qualification as a Certified Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) (m/f/d).

Required Skills

• Solid practical experience in accounting within an international corporate environment; proficiency in HGB and IFRS closing procedures is essential.
• Proficient user of SAP and MS Excel.
• Analytical acumen, a structured working method, and the motivation to take initial leadership steps.
• Fluent German and good English language skills for daily communication within the global network.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in supporting IT special projects.
