Quality Assurance Analyst - Structured Investments and Annuities

Our Structured Investments and Annuities team, powered by Hexure by iCapital, delivers high-quality software products to clients across all platforms. We are seeking a meticulous and driven Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team and play an integral role in our success.

About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software delivered by the Hexure by iCapital products. You will design and execute test plans and test cases to validate adherence to specified requirements, performing functional, regression, integration, and system testing using both manual and automated approaches. This role also involves supporting external clients through their testing cycles, providing detailed release notes, triaging issues, and collaborating to resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Database team for database synchronization and updates for deployments and testing.
  • Execute production deployments following change management processes and ensure successful implementation.
  • Provide accurate estimates for Change Management Requests (CMRs) and assess potential risks and impacts.
  • Review requirements documentation to fully understand project scope and testing objectives.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure adequate test coverage and minimize defects.
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance matrices, including test coverage and slippage ratios.
  • Adhere to established quality control processes, test execution methods, and standards to identify, analyze, and document issues, bugs, and defects.
  • Complete full regression testing and analyze test results.
  • Manage code and data migrations across multiple testing and production environments.
  • Conduct smoke and sanity testing after each build or deployment to verify system stability.
  • Monitor the defect tracking system daily and partner with the development team for timely issue resolution.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) and provide regular testing status updates.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in software quality assurance, application testing, or a related technology field.
  • Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with a test automation platform (e.g., Selenium, Playwright) is a plus.
  • Comfort using AI-assisted tools like Copilot for enhanced testing efficiency is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in life insurance and annuities is preferred.
