About the Role

This position involves the technical management of a residential real estate portfolio owned by the company in Berlin. You will be responsible for the technical aspects of the properties, from initial assessment and planning through to the implementation and operational oversight of construction and maintenance measures. The role requires a close connection to the properties themselves, ensuring efficient and effective management of the portfolio.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the company's owned residential real estate portfolio in Berlin, with regular on-site property engagement.
• Conduct technical assessments of existing properties and derive necessary construction and maintenance measures.
• Plan and prioritize maintenance and Capex measures, including budget oversight.
• Independently manage and partially oversee the operational execution of renovation and modernization projects.
• Manage the entire procurement process, from obtaining quotes to final billing.
• Closely coordinate and control external service providers at the property level.
• Actively manage defects and warranties, including on-site follow-up.

Your Qualifications

• Technical degree (e.g., in construction engineering) or a comparable qualification (e.g., certified technician/master craftsman).
• Proven experience in technical property management or construction/project management/site supervision.
• Relevant experience in the technical administration of residential real estate is essential.
• Knowledge of VOB (Vergabe- und Vertragsordnung für Bauleistungen) and similar regulations.
• Good understanding of maintenance, renovation, and the economic management of construction measures.
• Structured, independent, and practical approach to work.
• Proficient in MS Office.

Compensation
