About the Role

As the GTM Systems Manager, you will own the architecture, integration, and optimization of Spellbook's Sales and CS technology stack, with HubSpot as the system of record. This role sits at the intersection of systems design, revenue operations, and process implementation. You will be the primary owner of core tools like HubSpot, Unify, Gong, and Clay, driving efficiency and revenue outcomes through thoughtful system design and automation.

Responsibilities

GTM Tech Stack Ownership

  • Own the architecture and day-to-day operation of the Sales and CS tech stack, with HubSpot as the system of record.
  • Evaluate, implement, and integrate adjacent tools (Unify, Gong, Clay, and others) to create a cohesive, high-leverage revenue infrastructure.
  • Lead system integrations and ensure clean, reliable data flows across the stack via native connectors, middleware, and API-based integrations.
  • Make build, buy, or kill decisions on tools; consolidate where possible and eliminate redundancy.
  • Maintain a documented system architecture for legibility and scalability.

HubSpot Administration

  • Serve as the primary HubSpot admin: manage users, teams, permissions, properties, pipelines, and lifecycle stages.
  • Build and maintain workflows, automations, and reporting to power Sales and CS operations.
  • Establish and enforce data governance: property naming conventions, picklist hygiene, deduplication, and record lifecycle policies.

Business Process Design

  • Partner with Sales and CS leaders to document and continuously improve core GTM business processes (lead-to-opportunity, opportunity-to-close, customer onboarding, renewal, and expansion).
  • Identify and address friction points in the revenue motion before they become bottlenecks.
  • Build the operational foundation for new GTM motions (outbound plays, ABM programs, PLG signals, etc.).

AI & Automation

  • Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to repetitive GTM workflows (enrichment, routing, follow-up, reporting).
  • Stay current with developments in the modern revenue stack and contribute a point of view on strategic investments.

Enablement & Adoption

  • Partner with Enablement to ensure user adoption of built systems.
  • Document workflows, build training materials, and manage change for new processes and tools.
  • Measure adoption and iterate on systems and processes.
  • Act as the internal subject matter expert and escalation point for systems and process questions.
  • Support with other responsibilities and projects as required.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in revenue operations, GTM systems, or sales operations in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Hands-on CRM expertise; proven ability to architect a CRM from the ground up. HubSpot experience and certifications are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of CRM integration across the modern revenue stack.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable systems and process solutions.
  • Comfortable operating in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong execution orientation.
  • Bias for action and strong opinions held loosely.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong documentation habits and attention to detail.
  • Curiosity about AI tools and their application in revenue workflows.

Nice to Haves

  • Deep understanding of unit economics (CAC, LTV, payback, gross margins).
  • Experience with consumption-based pricing models and supporting GTM infrastructure.

Why Join Spellbook?

  • Embrace autonomy and accountability in a flexible work environment focused on outcomes.
  • Access company-paid group benefits with $1,000 towards mental health support.
  • Generous time off policies, including a holiday closure.
  • Monthly paid meals, an annual wellness allowance, and parental leave top-ups.
  • Competitive stock option grants as a pivotal early employee.
