Team Lead Accounting DACH (m/w/x)

The Role

For our growing organization, we are seeking an experienced individual to serve as Team Lead Accounting DACH (m/f/x). In this key position, you will be responsible for the proper bookkeeping and financial statement preparation for four companies within the YOC Group in the DACH region, while actively driving the advancement of our financial processes. You will act as the central point of contact for all accounting-related inquiries in the DACH region.

Professional Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the ongoing financial accounting (HGB) for a total of four companies in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, in collaboration with a two-person team at the Berlin location.
• Independent and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Active participation in day-to-day operations (not purely a review function), including:
• General ledger, accounts receivable/payable.
• Provisions and accruals.
• Intercompany reconciliations.
• Detailed account clearing.
• Further development and standardization of accounting processes within the DACH region.
• Serve as the point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and authorities.

Project & Optimization Work

• Participate in or lead projects (e.g., digitalization, ERP optimization, automation).
• Support during the annual financial statement audit.
• Contribute to the harmonization of accounting standards.

Your Profile

• Successfully completed studies in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in accounting.
• Very good knowledge of HGB; IFRS knowledge is an advantage.
• Proficient in using SAP ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, DATEV, or similar).
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented working method.
• High degree of personal responsibility and a hands-on mentality.
• Fluent German and good English language skills.
