About the Role

As an Account Executive, you will be instrumental in driving the company's growth by acquiring new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and increasing sales revenue. Your focus will be on building, developing, and maintaining strong client relationships, articulating our value proposition to meet client needs, and achieving ambitious sales targets.

Territory: New York, New York. Applicants should reside in or near New York City and be willing to travel locally for client visits. Proximity to a major airport is required.

Travel: Up to 50% travel within the assigned territory as required.

Existing Network: A strong network within the IAM industry is essential for success in this role, as you will be managing an existing territory.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive all revenue-generating activities (opportunity identification, progression, and closing) within the assigned geography for IDMWORKS' full suite of offerings.
  • Understand the value of IDMWORKS' offerings to aggressively identify new opportunities and develop compelling sales value propositions.
  • Collaborate with IDMWORKS sales leadership and marketing to create Territory Development Plans.
  • Manage the IDMWORKS Sales Methodology within the territory, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities, and forecasting metrics in the CRM.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline to consistently meet quarterly pipeline generation and closed opportunity expectations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records and other required reporting.
  • Articulate the IDMWORKS story, value proposition, history, and offerings to effectively align services with customer requirements.
  • Assist in developing solutions to customer business problems by understanding underlying issues and coordinating with internal IDMWORKS teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and prospects, coordinating internal resources to meet client needs.
  • Maintain a high level of industry and third-party software knowledge to act as a consultative expert.
  • Possess competitive knowledge to differentiate IDMWORKS and minimize competitive losses.
  • Participate in IDMWORKS marketing events and activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Direct sales experience with expertise in one or more Identity and Access Management (IAM) domains (e.g., Identity Lifecycle Management, Identity Governance, Privileged Access Management, Workforce Access Management, Consumer Identity Access Management).
  • Proven record of exceeding sales quotas in a direct sales capacity within IAM.
  • Experience coordinating matrix-based organizations to address customer needs and generate sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to build long-term customer relationships evidenced by closed opportunities, follow-on engagements, and renewals.
  • Ability to act in a leadership capacity for team members within the assigned territory.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives across various clients and partners.
  • Ability to perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
  • Professional interaction skills with employees, customers, and suppliers.
  • Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Strong independent work ethic with effective communication and coordination with others.
