Automation Tester Engineer (AI Focused)

Jalasoft is looking for an experienced Automation Tester Engineer to enhance our quality assurance processes through advanced automation and AI integration.

About the Role

As an Automation Tester Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and execution of automated test scripts. You will leverage Python, Pytest, and AI tools to optimize test coverage, improve defect detection, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software. Collaboration with development teams, product owners, and stakeholders is key to success.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Python and Pytest frameworks.
• Utilize AI technologies to enhance test coverage and defect detection.
• Build and maintain shared Python/Pytest test frameworks and libraries for organizational use.
• Define and implement reusable GitLab CI/CD patterns for automated testing.
• Operate and maintain the testing toolchain (K6, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform-managed infra).
• Collaborate effectively with SDETs, Developers, and QAs.
• Drive multi-file changes, test generation, and CI debugging using AI tools.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in automation testing.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Pytest.
• Experience with AI-Accelerated testing solutions and Claude Code.
• Experience working within the Scrum framework.
• Experience in CI/CD integration, particularly with GitLab CI/CD.
• Familiarity with K6 and Terraform-managed infrastructure.
• Proven cross-team collaboration experience.
• Good English communication skills.
