Werkstudent (m/w/d) - Technische Infrastruktur
home2share GmbH operates approximately 500 serviced apartments and boarding house units across Germany. Our guests interact with our services primarily through digital channels, including booking, check-in, and communication. To ensure seamless operations, we leverage modern technologies such as Smart Locks, camera and access control systems, digital guest communication, and robust network infrastructure.
We are seeking a technically proficient Working Student to support, develop, and contribute innovative ideas to our technical infrastructure as we grow.
Responsibilities:
- Setup, maintenance, and replacement of Smart Locks and access control systems.
- Management of camera and security systems.
- Setup, monitoring, and optimization of WLAN and network infrastructures.
- Analysis and resolution of technical issues.
- Support in the technical commissioning of new locations.
- Documentation of technical standards and processes.
- Development and implementation of improvement suggestions.
- Support in digitalization and automation projects.
Qualifications:
What You Bring:
- Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable discipline.
- Strong technical understanding.
- Independent and structured work approach.
- High initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on mentality.
- Valid Class B driver's license.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with networks, routers, and WLAN systems.
- Knowledge in Smart Home, IoT, or building automation.
- Experience with camera systems or electronic locking systems.
- Technical hobbies or personal projects (e.g., home networks, smart home, Raspberry Pi, automation).
