Responsibilities (Aufgaben)

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Determination and booking of provisions (e.g., costs, taxes, etc.)
• Monitoring and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Maintenance and reconciliation of balance sheet and general ledger accounts
• Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the trial balance
• Processing and support of accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting
• Execution of credit controlling
• Preparation of VAT returns, INTRASTAT declarations, etc.
• Preparation of documents and analyses for tax advisors
• Support with annual financial statements, tax, and internal audits
• Participation in projects related to new local legal requirements (accounting, taxes, etc.) and support in the introduction of new accounting systems and processes
• Assumption of further accounting tasks and team support as needed

Qualifications (Qualifikation)

• At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting/bookkeeping
• Training or certification as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter/in) is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Sound knowledge of accounting according to HGB (German Commercial Code) and IFRS
• Good knowledge of tax law
• Strong analytical and financial skills
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Experience with ERP systems
• Good communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken
• High commitment, flexibility, and motivation
• Hands-on mentality and independent working style
