Our Startup
CADAICO, the Chat-to-Design Company, is a small but fast-growing startup from Stuttgart. CADAICO was founded by Pedram, a former mid-level manager in mechanical engineering, and Daniel, an AI researcher from KIT.
Our team is building AI-powered construction software for mechanical engineering. We combine AI methods with conventional algorithms to help engineers create mechanical designs faster using our "Chat-to-CAD" software, rather than traditional CAD tools.
With promising projects in the pipeline, we have a solid foundation for the next growth phase. We are looking for people who think independently, take responsibility, and want to build real AI products that shape mechanical engineering.
What You'll Do
- Build central components of our Chat-to-Design product end-to-end.
- Develop scalable full-stack applications for engineers.
- Integrate AI/LLM functionalities into productive applications—from retrieval pipelines to agentic workflows.
- Transform complex AI ideas into simple, usable product features.
- Contribute to shaping architecture, technical decisions, and engineering quality as we scale.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
- Several years of practical experience in software development, ideally 5+ years, including responsibility for complex, production-ready systems.
- Strong practical experience with AI/LLM applications, Prompt Engineering, RAG, Agentic Workflows.
- Experience with Python 3.12+ (Flask), C# (.NET Core 8, WPF, WebView), and JavaScript/TypeScript (Svelte/SvelteKit).
- Strong understanding of scalable data engineering: Databases (SQL, NoSQL), Caching, and Indexing.
- Strong understanding of Software Architecture, Clean Code, and maintainable system design, e.g., SOLID, DRY, and KISS.
- Very good English and good German language skills for confident internal and external communication.
Nice to Have:
- Basic knowledge of CAD software.
- Understanding of prompt optimization or agent-based systems.
- Enjoyment of rapid prototyping and iterative experimentation.
