About the Role

We are seeking an achievement-oriented sales professional to manage inbound inquiries and drive growth within the U.S. Government and private government contractor sectors. This role is perfect for someone who thinks outside-the-box, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated by exceeding sales goals through strong collaboration. You will develop a deep understanding of customer needs for prototype to production parts, demonstrate the value of Xometry's offerings, and gain familiarity with U.S. Government contracting processes. Responsibilities

  • Sell Xometry solutions to the United States Government.
  • Focus on supply chain, dedicating significant time to understanding our business and aligning with customer strategic objectives.
  • Initiate and build relationships with engineering staff, program management, procurement, and executive management.
  • Develop strategic account plans and roadmaps for key customers.
  • Schedule sales calls and presentations for company executives and engineers with prospective clients.
  • Qualify and convert potential leads into customers.
  • Collaborate with technical staff and internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and management within the company's CRM or sales management system.
  • Represent the company professionally and positively.
  • Propose winning solutions and negotiate contract terms.
  • Participate in ongoing training and mentoring programs.
  • Understand and contribute to the company's goals and performance enhancement.
  • Adhere to Xometry's quality and safety systems, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a quota-carrying, closing sales role.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience selling into the U.S. Government and private government contractors (preferred).
  • Experience with U.S. Government contracting is a plus.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing or engineering is preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 5-10% of the time.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage effectively across functions.
  • High proficiency with virtual meetings and presentations.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom/WebEx/GoToMeeting.
  • CRM experience with Salesforce or similar systems.
  • Experience with strategic sales planning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated base salary range: $80,000 - $90,000 annually + commission.
