The Opportunity: Build Our Data & Solutions Core
We have established a new Data & IT team and are seeking you to be its technical core. You will be instrumental in building our data and tooling landscape from the ground up, encompassing Azure pipelines, ERP/CRM integrations, Microsoft Power Platform solutions, and productive AI workflows. This is a greenfield environment with no legacy systems or corporate overhead, allowing you to influence the technology stack and report directly to the Head of IT & Data.
AI is integral to our operations; we provide Claude licenses and AI-coding tools as standard equipment. A significant part of your role will involve building agents and automations to handle real-world business tasks.
Responsibilities (Aufgaben)
- Build and Operate Data Pipelines: Develop and manage data pipelines on Azure, including ingestion, transformation, and provisioning for reporting and internal tools.
- System Integrations: Create robust, well-documented API integrations with ERP, CRM, and external sources.
- AI Workflows: Productively deploy Claude/LLM workflows, including agents, automations, and internal AI tools.
- Internal Tools & Self-Service: Develop internal tools and self-service solutions using code or the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), based on suitability.
- Task Automation: Automate manual, recurring tasks across data flows, reports, and operational workflows.
- End-to-End Ownership: Take full responsibility from prototyping to stable production operation, establishing pragmatic standards (documentation, Git, code quality) without unnecessary overhead.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts, departments, and management to translate requirements directly into functional solutions.
Qualifications (Das solltest du mitbringen)
- Python & SQL Proficiency: Excellent Python and SQL skills demonstrated through practical, multi-year experience.
- Azure Experience: Solid practical experience building solutions in Azure (e.g., Functions, Data Factory, Storage, Databricks, Fabric).
- AI Practical Experience: Active experience with LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI, etc.) and AI-coding tools, having brought workflows or agents into production, or possessing the foundational engineering skills and strong desire to do so.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent German in speaking and writing (our working language).
Nice to Have (Schön, aber kein Muss):
- Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Experience with data modeling in warehouse/lakehouse environments.
- DevOps fundamentals (CI/CD, IaC) and experience integrating disparate systems.
- Experience in a scale-up, mid-sized company, or small team environment, accustomed to broad responsibilities and ownership.
