About the Role
- Support the development and optimization of the annual timetable concept, considering the impact of planned infrastructure measures.
- Analyze the effects of construction projects on the FlixTrain network, deriving well-founded recommendations and alternative concepts.
- Utilize data-driven analyses with Excel, BI tools, and initial AI applications to evaluate commercial impacts on demand, revenue, and costs.
- Collaborate with Commercial Planning, Operations, and Operations Planning teams to develop actionable solutions for construction-related challenges.
- Prepare for and represent FlixTrain in external stakeholder meetings with DB InfraGO, the Federal Network Agency, and other partners.
About You
- Possess good knowledge of Germany's transport geography and a keen interest in the interdependencies between infrastructure, operations, and economic efficiency.
- Demonstrate analytical thinking, strong numerical understanding, and excellent Excel skills.
- Bring initial professional experience in Network Planning, Capacity Management, Transport, Infrastructure, Consulting, or a comparable field.
- Combine a structured, independent, and solution-oriented work approach with strong communication skills and enjoyment of cross-functional collaboration.
- Fluent German and English language skills (C1 level) are essential.
- Experience with KOMBau, FBS, IVU, SQL, Python, BI tools, or AI applications is a plus, but not required.
