About the Role

As an Enterprise Account Executive based in France, you will be responsible for growing and managing dbt Labs' enterprise customer base. This role requires a hunter mindset, proactive engagement, and a curious approach to identifying new business opportunities and expanding within existing client accounts. You will leverage your foresight and understanding of complex sales cycles to confidently drive growth for dbt Labs. The position involves building and closing your own pipeline, managing and deepening the dbt Cloud footprint in existing accounts, and engaging with technology partners.

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Build, manage, and close your own pipeline of companies that will benefit from the dbt Cloud offering.
  • Manage and deepen the dbt Cloud footprint in existing enterprise accounts.
  • Engage with technology partners and ecosystem service providers to optimize impact and reach in the region.
  • Lead and contribute to team projects focused on developing the sales process.
  • Collaborate with the product team to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Demonstrable ability to build and close your own pipeline within enterprise accounts.
  • 4+ years of closing experience in technology sales, with a proven track record of exceeding annual targets.
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into a consultative sale.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Diligence and organizational skills to manage long, intricate sales cycles involving multiple client teams.
  • Ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environment.
  • A passion for being an inclusive teammate and active community member.
  • Experience with SQL or a willingness to learn.

You have an edge if you have:

  • Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, and/or open-source software.
  • Knowledge of or prior experience with dbt.

Compensation

  • Competitive compensation package including salary, RSUs, and performance-based pay.
  • The typical starting salary range for this role is €195,000 EUR to €270,000 EUR OTE, with a 50/50 split between fixed and variable compensation.
