We are FinMent – a fast-growing, doubly state-certified FinTech startup in Berlin. We democratize the knowledge and access to institutional investment through innovative technologies, proven financial expertise, and exclusive strategies previously reserved for institutional investors (Family Offices) with a minimum capital of €200 million.

About the Role

As a member of our product development team, you will play a key role as a programmer in both frontend and backend development. You will be involved in the entire development process of our financial platform, creating innovative features around stock trading and financial independence. You will drive our financial platform technologically and conceptually forward in the frontend and backend.

Responsibilities

• Product Development: Be involved in the entire development process of our financial platform and develop innovative features around stock trading and financial independence.
• Innovative Investment Systems: Support and independently develop the next generation of intelligent investment systems for private investors in a dynamic startup environment.
• Full-Stack Development: Drive our financial platform technologically and conceptually forward in the frontend and backend.
• Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize internal company processes, systems, and algorithms to continuously improve the efficiency, performance, and quality of our platform.
• Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in the Scrum process as a member of an agile team, accompanying all phases from planning to retro.

We invest in your individual training, specifically promote your further development, and make you an expert step-by-step – with the clear goal of long-term collaboration.

Qualifications

• High Performance Drive: You have a high willingness to perform, a thirst for knowledge in financial topics, and want to develop personally into a specialist in the financial sector.
• Clean Coding: Programming is your passion, and you are a Clean Coder.
• Tech Stack: You are familiar with fundamental technologies like JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, WordPress, HTML5, CSS. You possess a precise and detail-oriented work style.
• High Performance & Hands-on Mentality: You are a programming all-rounder who wants to continuously develop through their hands-on mentality and enjoys tackling tasks.
• Responsibility: You want and can take responsibility for your area, leading to rapid personal growth.
• Results-Oriented: You tackle tasks. You are disciplined, independent, and results-oriented.
• Communication: Your German is ideally at B2 level. Your English is good for conversations.
