TripleTen is seeking a detail-oriented Payments Operations Specialist to manage the end-to-end student payment lifecycle. This role is crucial for ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and an excellent student experience by overseeing payment processing, loan operations, documentation, and refund management.

What You Will Do

• Manage and process student payments with precision, ensuring accuracy across payment schedules, billing records, and partner systems.
• Support loan operations by verifying eligibility, coordinating documentation, and maintaining comprehensive records.
• Maintain and validate payment data, reconcile transactions, and monitor enrollments for data integrity.
• Process and manage essential student documentation, including enrollment agreements and academic records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment-related inquiries, refunds, and operational issues.
• Handle payment operations workflows such as payment plan adjustments, program transfers, and payment link generation.
• Calculate, process, and communicate student refunds accurately and promptly.
• Monitor recurring payment plans and proactively address any payment issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and team workflows.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an operational role within an IT, SaaS, EdTech, or technology-driven environment.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas (e.g., XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH), data validation, reporting, and handling large datasets.
• Experience with operational systems such as billing platforms, CRM tools, or help desk systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Comfort with routine operational tasks and a proactive approach to process improvement.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Experience with collaboration and documentation tools like Slack or Notion.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Interest in technology, online education, and digital products.
• Experience building or documenting operational processes is a plus.
• Familiarity with automation tools and workflow optimization is a plus.
