About the Role

The Enterprise Account Executive is a pivotal strategic position focused on generating new business by selling our digital health solutions to the largest and most strategic target employer clients. This role is crucial for capturing commercial sales opportunities, forging robust market partnerships with health plans and PBMs, and developing scalable strategies for employer adoption. By expanding 9amHealth's footprint in the employer benefits space, this role directly contributes to broader access to our innovative virtual cardiometabolic care offerings. You will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, playing a key part in the company's growth trajectory and market influence.

We are hiring one candidate for the Northeast region and one for the West region.

What You'll Do

  • Leverage your expertise, relationships, and market insights to drive new business acquisition with large employers (5,000 to 25,000 employees).
  • Manage the full lifecycle of commercial sales opportunities, from lead generation and pipeline management to deal closure.
  • Collaborate with the Consultant Relations Team to cultivate relationships and generate leads from employer benefits consultants.
  • Partner closely with your Sales Development Representative to identify and pursue new market opportunities.
  • Engage with the National Partnerships Team to build and strengthen key relationships with market partners such as PBMs, health plans, and other reseller organizations.

What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • A proven history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas, ideally within the digital health or employer benefits sector.
  • Established network of relationships with key decision-makers in the employer benefits and/or healthcare consulting industries.
  • A deep understanding of the employer benefits ecosystem, including the decision-making frameworks of large employers and benefits consulting firms.
  • Readiness to develop and refine a launch strategy for employer adoption, coupled with the ability to execute independently.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in negotiating complex contracts, particularly with large employers, partners, and strategic accounts.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment, with a comfort level navigating ambiguity.

Compensation

Target OTE (On-Target Earnings) of $300,000, structured as a 50/50 split between base salary and performance-based variable compensation.
