Sr. Data and AI Engineer (Remote)

Everforth ECS is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Data and AI Engineer to join their high-performing, remote team. This role is critical for product discovery and driving technical innovation.

About the Role

The Sr. Data and AI Engineer will be a key member of the team, providing essential support in product discovery. You will leverage your data expertise to align technical, business, and customer needs into achievable objectives and drive their successful completion. As an expert in delivering technical projects, you will identify challenges and opportunities for improvement in processes, organizational practices, technical innovation, and culture, then lead cross-functional teams to implement solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply technical expertise across multiple disciplines to share best approaches and solutions with customers, improving complex strategic solutions and meeting enterprise needs.
• Identify strategic improvement opportunities, generate buy-in, and execute on vision.
• Develop roadmaps that link the deployment of architectural capabilities to address inherent data challenges.
• Work hands-on with developers to deliver solutions and provide customer-facing support.
• Communicate technical solutions effectively to stakeholders at various leadership levels, building relationships and explaining business value.
• Mentor data engineers, establish best practices, conduct code reviews, and help teams understand the business value of solutions.
• Work within an Agile environment, leveraging advanced design and engineering best practices.
• Build solutions that utilize data to improve business insights, support operational decisions, and enhance performance management.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of IT experience, including design, analysis, and implementation of large-scale, complex data architectures.
• 5+ years of Data experience in evaluating, architecting, and building AI and Generative AI tools.
• Experience serving as a central facilitator to help organizations understand current drivers and challenges.
• Experience supporting Business Development efforts by maturing strategic solution ideas and aligning them with customer needs.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions and business value to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring data engineers and establishing best practices.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Experience building data-driven solutions for business insights, operational decisions, and performance management.
• Knowledge of Data Management, Data Architecture, Data Warehousing, Big Data tools, Data Analytics, and Data Science concepts.
• Experience with Azure and AWS Cloud native data and AI technologies.
• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Palantir, and other large data platforms.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $160,000 - $185,000
