The Role

You will be the ultimate owner of engineering at Lemon.io. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will guide a growing engineering team, make crucial architectural and prioritization decisions, and ensure the speed and quality of our product output. You will be deeply involved in product strategy and collaborate directly with the founder.

What You’ll Do

• Own and execute the technical roadmap, ensuring all engineering efforts directly align with business objectives.
• Lead and scale an engineering team that prioritizes rapid iteration, efficiency, and managing complexity.
• Address complex challenges in automated vetting, intelligent matching at scale, and demand-side bottlenecks to identify areas of high leverage.
• Make critical prioritization decisions, determining what features to build, defer, or eliminate.
• Collaborate closely with the founder and product team to define success metrics before development begins.
• Cultivate a strong engineering culture characterized by high ownership, rapid execution, and minimal bureaucracy.
