Senior Snowflake Consultant at ON-POINT Connect

Your New Challenge (Responsibilities)

• Advise clients on the conception and implementation of modern data platform and analytics solutions based on Snowflake.
• Analyze requirements and support clients in implementing new features, including documentation. Act as the interface between IT and business departments at the client's site.
• Provide technical leadership for project teams, streams, or sub-projects.
• Manage the economic performance of projects, including resource planning, budget control, and profitability.
• Support project sourcing, pitches, and proposal processes.
• Assist with strategic client management and expand our Snowflake and Data Consulting portfolio.

What You Bring (Qualifications)

• Completed degree in Business Administration, (Business) Informatics, or a comparable field with a strong affinity for IT.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Engineering/Analytics Engineering/BI projects, ideally within the Banking/Financial Services sector.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager and/or Team Manager.
• Demonstrable practical experience with Snowflake: SQL, data modeling, Security & RBAC, performance optimization, and experience with Data Lakes in Snowflake.
• Knowledge of internal banking processes and products is advantageous.
• SnowPro Certification (Core, Data Engineer, or Specialty Gen AI) or knowledge of Snowflake Intelligence and Cortex AI is desirable.
• Dynamic, communicative, and self-reliant personality with strong analytical skills and a customer- and results-oriented approach.
• Entrepreneurial thinking, sense of responsibility, and a clear focus on quality, economic efficiency, and customer benefit.
• Fluent German and English (C1 level), strong teamwork skills, flexibility, and willingness to travel.
