About the Company

Our client is an established provider of services for medical facilities, focusing on efficient processes, high quality standards, and the use of modern technologies. Their goal is to optimize central administrative and operational processes and sustainably relieve their partners in daily operations. To further develop its commercial division, they are seeking an experienced and responsible leader.

Your Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for accounting according to HGB, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Leadership and further development of the financial accounting team (5 employees) and professional management of controlling (1 employee).
• Ensuring proper bookkeeping in compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
• Further development, standardization, and documentation of accounting processes, guidelines, and internal controls.
• Central point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders.
• Preparation and further development of meaningful reporting for management and relevant stakeholders.
• Sparring partner for management on financial matters.
• Support with budget planning, forecasts, and selected business analyses.
• Derivation, analysis, and commentary of relevant key figures for company management.

Your Qualifications

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in a responsible position in Accounting / Financial Reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of HGB balance sheet accounting as well as tax and accounting law.
• Experience in leading small teams and collaborating with commercial interfaces.
• Very proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; DATEV knowledge is mandatory.
• Fluent German and English language skills.
• Strong analytical thinking skills and a high affinity for numbers.
• Structured, meticulous, and solution-oriented work approach.
• High process affinity and motivation to sustainably optimize existing financial structures.
• Hands-on mentality, sense of responsibility, and assertiveness.
