Legal Operations Analyst

About the Role

Join GoDaddy's Strategy, Enablement, Acquisitions & Legal (SEAL) organization as a Legal Operations Analyst, part of the Data Governance & Operations team. In this remote role, you will support the day-to-day operations of the SEAL organization, contributing to a wide array of activities that ensure the effectiveness of legal and strategy teams. This includes managing outside counsel billing and onboarding, administering legal technology platforms, handling vendor and subscription processes, and maintaining accurate, accessible information. You will collaborate with legal professionals, operations teams, and external partners globally, ensuring smooth workflows and strong operational hygiene.

What You'll Do

• Onboard new law firms and contractors, manage billing and payment inquiries, and review invoices for compliance with guidelines and rate schedules.
• Maintain and update legal agreements on the public website, managing version histories and documentation logs according to change management practices.
• Administer user access across legal technology platforms, collaborating with IT/Security and providing first-line support.
• Manage all aspects of third-party legal subscriptions, including renewals, access, and invoicing, as well as professional memberships.
• Maintain and enhance the team’s SharePoint intranet, updating SOPs, templates, and reference materials to improve team efficiency and onboarding.

What Your Experience Should Include

• 3+ years in legal operations, legal administration, or a related operational role, with preferred exposure to legal technology platforms (e.g., DocuSign, Ironclad, OneTrust, Diligent Entities, Brightflag).
• Familiarity with legal billing concepts and invoice review, including exposure to billing guidelines or e-billing workflows.
• Strong working proficiency in Microsoft 365 (especially SharePoint, Teams, and Excel), along with proficiency in HTML/CSS and Markdown.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and follow through with mentorship.
• Comfort working in a distributed, cross-functional environment across time zones, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive, curious approach with a willingness to learn and contribute to operational improvements.

You Might Also Have

• Experience supporting contract lifecycle management or entity management workflows.
• Exposure to vendor risk management, privacy compliance, content management, or data governance operations.
• Familiarity with CLOC, ACC Legal Operations Maturity Model, or similar legal ops frameworks.
• Experience supporting legal technology implementations or system migrations, especially involving AI.
